Hz = s ^ -1 = 1/second

Search by technical units of seconds.

1 / 632 Hz = x seconds.

632 Hz ie 632 cycles (peak) per second. Whitecaps take 632 one seconds, so that the wave crest comes every 1 / 632 second. Quite simply, the time (duration of a cycle) is the inverse of the frequency.

The formula is

Frequency = 1/time period

This is the time between two consecutive peaks

if T = 1 / F

1 / 632 = 0.00158s

or 1.58 m
